The Multi-Purpose Break-Out Fiber Optical Cable is Several simplex optical cables (made of 900μm tight buffered fiber and aramid yarns) that are used as optical sub-units for the multi-core branch cable. Sub-units are stranded around a non-metallic central strength member to form a cable core. Then, a PVC sheath is extruded into the core. Other sheath materials are available on request.
